Company History

In 1969, brothers, Val and Joe Strumberger started Cicero & Devon Texaco at the corner of Cicero and Devon in Lincolnwood, Illinois. They offered many services including a gas station, auto repair shop and towing services. In 1971 they expanded and moved their operations to the corner of Cicero and Foster avenues and changed their name to Capable and Dependable Texaco Service. In order to focus on towing and service, the gas station was closed. Capable & Dependable Towing, Inc. and Certified and Dependable Auto Service were officially incorporated in 1973.

Thirty-eight years later, Val and his two sons Mike and Paul are running operations and offering more services than ever before. C&D Towing, Inc. has been family owned and operated since its inception. We are dedicated to working hard and providing quality services to our customers.
